After growing up in a Christian home, Dave came out of high school with a lot of doubts and a lot of hurts. While struggling to find meaning and purpose and wavering in his commitment to Jesus Dave was reached through Every Nation Campus Ministries (ENCM) at FSU in 1999. In time, as God began to bring about repentance and restore faith, Dave became heavily involved in all aspects of the campus ministry and served on the student leadership team of ENCM at FSU, and while still a student went through Every Nation Leadership Institute. After completing his undergraduate degree as well as a Master's Degrees he worked for one year in the public school system in Gadsden county.

In 2004 he went to the Every Nation School of Ministry and completed a Certificate in Mission Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary, and then returned to Tallahassee to serve with ENCM in Tallahassee.

In 2005 he became the Campus Director of ENCM at Florida A & M University and in 2008 married his wife Katie who currently works as a Registered Nurse at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, and also serves on the Worship Team at ENT.

In 2010 Dave assumed the leadership of both local ENCM outreaches including Florida A & M University and Florida State University.

Though Dave's primary responsibility is as a Campus Missionary with Every Nation Campus Ministries because of his commitment to ENT he works in close partnership with the leadership team Every Nation, Tallahassee and serves in a pastoral capacity for the young adult and college age members of ENT. He also serves through as-needed assignments such as leading international mission trips and training Life Group leaders.

Dave and Katie had their first child, Cayden in February of 2012.
