Children's Ministry
Welcome Parents! Our kids' program is divided into two distinct ministries: Every Nation Kids (ENK) and Every Nation Time Travelers (ENT-2). Children from birth to pre-K will be cared for and ministered to in ENK located adjacent to the main sanctuary. Much more than a mere childcare service, ENK features workers that impart God’s Word into the children in our care during Sunday morning worship service. Our ENK kids take part in music, stories, hands-on discovery and a blessing.
Kids from kindergarten to fifth grade will find adventure waiting in the ENT-2 room located inside the first red door just up the sidewalk from ENK (the ENT-2 logo above the door is a certain giveaway). Once there, our teams of “Time Travel Technicians” will make the Bible come alive with praise and worship, designed just for kids, fun special features, and practical teaching that continues the process of burying God’s Word deep into their hearts.
Our children’s program is not designed to get the children out of the way on Sunday mornings, but rather to disciple and encourage the children to fulfill all that God has for them. We take seriously this opportunity to encourage, teach, and train the world-changers of tomorrow.
At the heart of both programs is Tru. ENK utilizes Tru Wonder for children that are two years to 4K; ENT-2 is supported by Tru Story. Every Nation Tallahassee is using this cutting edge curriculum because it empowers parents in a way never before seen in church ministry.
It may sound like a cliché, but you will realize the difference within one week. Your e-mail address is the portal that is used to equip you with HomeFront Weekly. This advances the theme and main message for the following Sunday and it offers tips for you to engage your child in the lesson before they ever come to ENK or ENT-2.
This positions our kids’ program uniquely to support what you have been already talking about with your child. The traditional model is the other way around. We think the Tru method makes sense and works better.
Then, once a month you will receive the e-version of HomeFront Monthly Magazine. This is packed with the theme for the upcoming month, encouraging thoughts and stories, recipes, games, study helps, and even ideas to help build traditions within your family that place God in the center.
As you can see…we are excited about reaching kids and imparting life changing truths from God’s Word.
Clearly, your child’s safety is a top priority, so new families give us the basics on their kids for an initial set-up at either of our two check-in centers (located at ENK and ENT-2). Then, each week, a letter or two on the touch screen or a scan on the bar code fob and voile`…that’s it! Your kids are quickly registered which helps us provide the safe environment you expect. While we are on the subject, every children’s ministry worker goes through a thorough background check and training before entering into this area of responsibility.
The way we figure it, God as always, gets it right when His Word distinguishes our children as a “heritage”. How can we treat your most precious darlings with anything but the very best care and ministry?
